In this video I show you guys 'How to Change your Wallpaper in Mac OS X Lion,' now I know this sounds like something to make a post/video about but I have been hitting a problem, and this method solved it. So the issue I was happening was whenever I changed my wallpaper, and shut down my mac, when I would turn on my mac the next time it would put it back to the default Apple wallpaper. Now this was a problem, and I didn't like it at all, so this is how to do it:
- Open a Finder Window, to your Macintosh HD
- Click on the System Folder, followed by the Library folder
- Scroll down to the "C's" and click on CoreServices.
- Next, go to DefaultDesktop.jpg and whatever image you want rename it to DefaultDesktop.jpg and drag and drop it to the CoreServices folder and click on Authenticate and type in your password
- And just like that now you have changed your wallpaper in Mac OS X Lion
-Thanks for reading and Happy Tech(:
