Google Announces the Nexus 7 tablet for $199

Today during Google's I/O conference they announced the Nexus 7. The Nexus 7 is a 7-inch tablet that is going to ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The device will take full advantages of the new OS and let's also not to forget it is the first to ship with a finished Chrome for Android. Now onto specs (Click here for the full specs), this device has a whopping quad-core Tegra 3, along with a front-facing camera (1.2 megapixels) and a resolution of 1280 x 800. Now as for the models and prices there are two: 8 GB for $199 and 16 GB for $249. I believe that many users will purchase this, much like the Amazon Kindle Fire, which appealed to mass market simply for the price point.
