Get iOS 5 for Free Without Developer Account

Before I start I just wanted to say that I have got all of my information from tysiphonehelp, check him out he is a pretty cool guy that has taught me a lot, anyways let's get started. First you want to download the firmware that is compatible with your iOS device. Choose from the list below:
(CDMA means Verizon and GSM means AT&T)

iPod 3rd Generation iOS 5 GM
iPod 4th Generation iOS 5 GM
iPhone 3G iOS 5 GM
iPhone 3GS iOS 5 GM
iPhone 4 iOS 5 GSM (GM)
iPhone 4 (CDMA) iOS 5 GM
iPad 1st Generation iOS 5 GM
iPad 2nd Generation iOS 5 GM (WiFi)
iPad 2nd Generation iOS 5 GM (GSM)
iPad 2nd Generation iOS 5 GM (CDMA)

After done so, you want to download iTunes 5. If you are running on a Mac you want to download here. And if you are running on a Windows machine, choose your poison at either 32-bit or 64-bit. Note that I do not have a Windows Computer and do recommend that you do more research before trying, do it at your own risk! But if something does go wrong, all you have to do is restore back to factory settings. After you have both the requirements you want to install the .ipsw on your iOS device. So depending on what operating system your running, you will either have to do one of 2 things. If you are running a mac you have to click the restore button and hold down the Option key; and if you are on Windows you have to click on the restore button and hold down the Shift key. After you have a dialog box open up find the .ipsw that you downloaded and click on it, from there iTunes will restore you device from that file. Note that this will erase everything on your device, so to save all your data, DON'T BACK UP! Click on each category, App, Videos, Music, etc and click sync.
