Changed Internet Password and Can't Get Back In? Now What? The Solution (Step by Step)

So I thank Robert Glen Fogarty who is a writer on Lockergnome, to help me change my Router Settings without Verizon's help, click here to check out the article! But something I wasn't proud of was the end result. I am running Mac OS X Lion 10.7 and my Wi-Fi icon up on my menu bar was suppose to detect that my connection couldn't be made and gave me an option to change the password but it didn't. I spent at least 10 minutes looking for the button that was right in front of my face, and before this I restarted, shut down, logged off, and even reset the SMC. But the button that I failed to click was the "Assistant..." button, instead I clicked on "Diagnostics...". Diagnostics wasn't a tad bit of help but only made matters worse by waiting my time and frying my paying by showing me the rainbow wheel every time I clicked on something. But than I clicked on the Assistant and it solved everything.I was shocked on how easy it
was and the UI was nicely done I might add. I think the combination of me having a known problem on an unknown OS (I'm still a PC fan) brought me to a dilemma. So I'm going to show you guys how to fix this problem. (Sorry for the extremely long introduction).

Just Changed My Internet Password and Can't Get Back In? Now What? The Solution (Step by Step)

1. Click on your Wi-Fi icon on your menu bar up at the top and click "Open Network Preferences..." or go to System Preferences --> Network.
2. Make sure you're clicked on Wi-Fi on the task pane on your left and if you are click on "Assist me..." at the bottom.
3. Now click on "Assistant..." and click the first option if you have a wireless connection and from here select your network if you see it, make sure you double click it and than select password and continue.
TIP: You will see the rainbow wheel a lot and when the network connections are loading don't go in a rush, take your time since there is no progress bar/wheel showing if it's finished searching for connections that are near you.
-Thanks for reading and Hopefully This Helped(:
