Mac Application Review: FaceTab

FaceTab is a mac application, that allows you to go on Facebook without   opening your web browser. How does it work? Now, when you first launch it nothing will open up. But you will notice that, there is a shadow of a person on your menu bar. That's the application! This free and light application runs with no problems. Now, you have to click the icon, and log in by entering you e-mail and password.
From there you have logged onto Facebook without a web browser, you can check your News Feed, Profile, Photos, etc. The pro's are you can also refresh it, or make it do it automatically ever 30 seconds to 15 minutes as well as an alert. You can make it start at login and choose a hotkey. I believe the concept of the app is good but the interface and user friendliness isn't the best. Although, this is the free version the only difference is the chat capability, I don't think someone should pay $1.99 just to chat. Now if you are insterested you can buy an $15 iTunes Gift Card. Overall, I give this application a 3 stars, just because the concept is really good, going on Facebook without opening a web browser, but the interface is way to complex for a new user and sometimes for pro's.FaceTab
